Off their second studio album Ceremonials, Florence + The Machine‘s latest music video for ‘Spectrum’ is getting a lot more attention then expected. Along with the rest of her songs, this track of course features some haunting crescendos and goddess-like chants that are surly to give you goosebumps, but what everyone is really gravitating towards is the amazing music video that released today that was directed by none other then David Lachapelle and David Bryne. The directors defiantly left their creative mark in this video by incorporating some very dramatic dancing, lighting, colors, and props. I recommend watching the video in 1080 HD for the full effect of the video; trust me you won’t regret it. Enjoy!

The wait is finally over! Azealia Banks‘ 1991 EP has finally dropped and after listening to the EP more than 20 times on repeat, it’s safe to say this girl is here to stay. Azealia has been the talk of the town for quite some time after her track ‘212‘ skyrocketed to the top of the charts and gained millions upon millions of Youtube views. Her fast and vulgar lyrics and high fashion profile has gained her a huge following of fans and Azealia is not afraid to go after any haters (just check out her hilariously personal Twitter to enter her world). The 1991 EP features four tracks [1991, Van Vogue, 212, and Liquorice], and every track is perfection with no basic and boring tracks whatsoever (especially the Van Vogue ending). Download the EP for less than $5 HERE and be prepared for some music videos, collaborations, and a hell of a tour headed our way.
With the world getting more crowded and the world becoming more inventive, it came as no surprise when a couple years ago everyone was introduced to the Smart Car. The Smart Car is your basic small car, but when we say small we really mean small. This compact car took over in places like Europe where having small cars is the norm; but now you can almost spot a Smart Car somewhere in America at least once or twice a day. Is this our future? Either way, Smart Car decided to take a creepy yet absolutely perfect approach for their newly redesigned Smart Fortwo model with introducing a ‘facelift’ concept. While the facelift of the car is not as dramatic as some of the people that appear in the commercial, you have to admit that the commercial itself is quite cool (and creepy to say the least). Also we can’t help but obsess overAmanda Lepore‘s cameo in the end. Enjoy!

Gossip has been delivering some of the best rock/pop music for the past couple years. Just this month they released their fifth album titled A Joyful Noise that is gaining some amazing reviews which seemed almost impossible since their last album got some amazing feedback. If you’ve never heard of Gossip, you might be familiar with their track ‘Heavy Cross’ which played in the background of the current Dior J’adore commercial. Beth Dito is back with a new music video for their latest single ‘Move In The Right Direction’ and trust me the video is just as amazing as the song itself. Enjoy!

“New York, 1922. The tempo of the city had changed sharply. The buildings were higher. The parties were bigger. The morals were looser and the liquor was cheaper. The restlessness approached hysteria”. After I heard that a 2012 film adaptation of The Great Gatsby was being made starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, and Tobey Maguire, I nearly lost it from excitement being that the book is my absolute favorite book (I’ve read it 13 times). Then the trailer for the film released this yesterday and now I’m even more excited to see the film. Directed by Baz Luhrmann (William Shakespeare’s Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge!), the trailer itself proves that this film will not only have some amazing acting but some even better cinematography. The trailer is filled with lots of music, bright colors, flashing lights, drama, the iconic 20′s style, and lots and lots of chilling scenes. The only down side to this whole thing is we’re all going to have to wait until Christmas for the movie to release. Enjoy!

With a debut album - The Golden Age - due to release this fall, Woodkid is on the right track. After a successfully reviewed EP, Woodkid is back with his first single form his album titled ‘Run Kid Run’. The track itself is amazing enough, but with a little help from Yoann Lemoine(director of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Blue Jeans’ and ‘Born To Die’ music videos and Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ music video), the music video for the ‘Run Boy Run’ has become that of a little kid’s imagination brought to life. The video is reminiscent of Where The Wild Things Are meets 1984 and you’ll see what I mean when you watch the video. All that’s missing is a continuation of the video. Enjoy!

If you thought that Kreayshawn‘s famed ‘Gucci Gucci‘ track was ridiculous enough, then you’re in for a rude awakening because Kreayshawn is back yet again with a new track titled ‘Breakfast (Syrup)’. The title explains the video concept quite well because this video is full of young 20somethings taking a bite of large amounts of pancakes, syrup, and each other. While the track doesn’t have any catchy yet annoying hook like ‘Gucci Gucci’, the video is for sure going to be enough to please you. It seems as though Kreayshawn is not ok with only having 15 minutes of fame… but maybe she should have left on a better note then releasing this. Also be prepared for Kreayshawn’s debut album, Somethin ‘Bout Kreay, due to release August 14th. Though she may seem quite insane and ridiculous sometimes, we can’t help but give the girl some major props for doing whatever she wants. Enjoy!

Do you hate your alarm? Whether it’s a loud and annoying sound to make sure you get up or your favorite song (but later becomes the song to terrorize your life), you want that perfect way to wake up every morning. Japanese fashion giant Uniqlo has developed the new “Wake Up” social app for both iOS and Android. Meant to make waking up in the morning as enjoyable as possible, the app offers alarm music that is automatically created with a dependence on the current time, weather and day of the week. After watching the video above which helps to show you exactly what the alarm experience is like, I took this as an opportunity to experiment with the app. After two successful mornings of waking up to the alarm I’ve concluded the following: the alarm will actually wake you up (and I’m a heavy sleeper), the music which changes everyday is actually very pleasant and not annoying, and the women who speaks to you form the app knows her shit pretty well. The app is currently available free of charge so check out the app!

I’m defiantly not one to go buy a $50,000 camera, and I can bet that the majority of you who are reading this aren’t either. Either way it’s pretty cool to see exactly what goes into making a $50,000 camera. With two big names, Leica and Hermès behind the product it’s no wonder why the camera costs so much. One thing we can appreciate though is how much detail and time goes into making the camera… but I think instead I’m spend my $50,000 elsewhere. Enjoy!
